About Me

Born for Tech, Learned to Ride

Most of my life, I’d been focused on IT, programming, and video game design. In April of 2020, I purchased my first motorcycle, a Kawasaki Z125 Pro. Friends, family, co-workers, or anyone who knew me up to that point wouldn’t have believed what would come in the next few years.

Tragedy Hits

On June 30th, 2021, a car collided with me while I was on my way home. The car turned left at an intersection when I was already in the middle of the intersection. I suffered from a collapsed right lung, broken right femur, broken right wrist (both radius and ulna), two ribs broken, and a dislocated left thumb.

I was unable to walk, use the bathroom, eat, bathe myself, etc for nearly a month. It was said I’d need at least two months to be able to walk. However, I was able to go home, walking somewhat independently by the middle of July.

Desire to Learn from Day One

After low-siding the second day of owning my first motorcycle and suffering from road rash up the entire length of my left arm, I decided I would learn to ride from professionals. I got my license from TEAM Arizona, a local motorcycle endorsement training course. After receiving my license, I knew I’d need to learn more. It’s impossible to learn everything about motorcycles, just as it’s impossible to learn everything about computers. This started my lifelong mission to learn as much as humanly possible about riding, gear, the mechanics of motorcycles, suspension, riding styles, etc, etc

Training Starts

By November of 2021, I was back on the track training with Chris Peris to become the best road racer I could be. I had bought a brand new 2021 BMW S1000RR the month of my accident, for the purpose of racing. Unfortunately, due to my accident, I had to wait until November to truly ride it. Chris made sure I got my skills up and my times down!
